[ISLMA-Share] Changing 741 to GN

Okay – this is good. Mine are also in their own space, but with 741.5 on them. Which is why I want to relabel. I find them within the non-fiction, and it becomes a nightmare if there is a sub, or even with student aides. I just feel they would be easier if they were their own.

Thanks
Amy

I agree. I've relocated all my graphic novels to their own space, but re-classifying them all with GN makes sense to me. I have not done that yet; they are all still 741.5. Occasionally, I find a few graphic novels reshelved with the "regular" 741's.

I saw this conversation happen a couple months ago, and I’ve been sitting on it.

I am thinking of taking the advice and swapping the 741 spines of my Graphic Novels to “GN XXX”

Anyone have an pro/cons about this?

Currently my fiction is “FIC XXX” and I feel moving from the 741 to the “GN” will be easier for my patrons, and my aides.

Thoughts?
