As some of you know, I am working on a review of Emily Henry's young adult
novel, The Love that Split the World. As I do that, I'm learning of other
books with Native characters that are adopted or fostered out of their
Native family/community.

One of those is Tim Green's *Unstoppable*, which came out in 2013. In it,
the main character is fostered, and then adopted (twice), into white
families. The novel isn't really about the character's identity as Native.
He's going to be diagnosed with cancer.

As is the case with my other reviews, I've focused on the Native content in
Green's novel. Here's my review:

If you know of other books in which a character is Native and being
fostered or adopted, please let me know so I can add them to my list of
titles. Most of the ones on the list right now are books by Native writers
who write for adult audiences. If you want to go right to that list
(there's a link in the review), here's the list:

All content on my site is sharable. Please share this review, or anything
else you want to share, with others. You need not write to me ahead of time
to ask permission.
