Hey all,

A language arts teacher in my building is looking for a resource (a book? a website?) that provides a comprehensive list of books that have teachers’ guides available - basically this (http://www.randomhouse.com/teachers/resourcecats/educator-guides/) but across multiple publishers. The teachers’ guides can be online resources or print resources, but she’d like to find something that has discussion questions as well as activity suggestions and maybe even lesson plans.

The objective is to make it easier for folks in her department to pick out books for small groups - rather than coming up with a list of thirty books and then trying to figure out if there are guides for those titles, they would like to be able to choose from a list of books that definitely have teachers’ guides available.

Does this resource exist?

Thanks for your help! Feel free to email me off-list.

"A book, too, can be a star, 'explosive material, capable of stirring up fresh life endlessly,' a living fire to lighten the darkness, leading out into the expanding universe."
― Madeleine L’Engle, from her Newbery Award acceptance speech for A Wrinkle in Time (1963)
