What do we value in a State Plan to improve student achievement for all
students?

What do you want to see in a State Plan to improve coordinated services to
schools and districts?

How can Title programs be improved?

*ISBE Goals:*

Every child in each public school in the state of Illinois deserves to
attend a system wherein...

All Kindergarteners are assessed for readiness

90 percent or more 3rd grade students are reading at or above grade level.

90 percent or more 5th grade students meet or exceed expectations in
mathematics

90 percent or more students are on track to graduate with their cohort at
the end of 9th grade

90 percent or more students graduate from high school ready for college and
career


These emails are being solicited:  your thoughts on the implementation of
the Every Student Succeeds Act.

My personal feeling is that the more mentions of school library
professionals, how they contribute to the goals, and what services to
schools
(ex: per capita grant deficiencies and lack of database access) might keep
the profession visible.
