[ISLMA-Share] Lois Lenski's INDIAN CAPTIVE

Yesterday, a parent wrote to ask me about Lois Lenski's INDIAN CAPTIVE. It
is assigned reading in her child's 5th grade classroom. Her request
prompted me to finish a post I'd started on about the book, and load it.

It has stereotypes and bias. Does anyone on the list know of a teacher who
is using it, but using it to teach about stereotypes?
