The reset barcode number for Follett is %C167I so using an online barcode generator can give you an image file to use for a reset barcode label. I could never remember how to find the command barcodes through Follett.  When I used them, I needed kids to be able to pick them up, so I printed them on cardstock and laminated them to make them last longer. I attached my reset cards, but I can’t find the jpeg of the reset barcode I used to have.

Another option is to print the circulation command barcodes:

Reports; Patron Reports; Barcode Labels; check Use at Circulation Desk; check Include Circulation Command Barcodes

Print and scan the Reset code at the bottom of the page.
I insert the reset code into a storybook character's 'ID' so we 'scan Miss Lotty' or similar.

Resetting between patrons can be a pain, but it's a good habit to get into. Some of our textbook bar codes are the same as our patron bar code #s. If we don't click on Reset between patrons, then we type in the next patron's number on the Check out screen, we may accidentally check out a text book to the previous patron.

If you are using Destiny we have had a lot of trouble with Safari and incorrect scans.   That just may be peculiar to our district.  Firefox or Chrome seem to be relatively error free scans.

Automatically clicking on the reset button after every patron or scanning the reset bar code  also reduces checking out books to the wrong student.

We are having a lot of books come back without getting checked in and books getting checked out to the wrong student account.
