Here are some books that my 5/6 grade book club has enjoyed.

Stella by Starlight (Rebecca Caudill 2017 book) - my book club loved this
and we had a great discussion about the KKK. My students had no idea it
was still happening.

The Seventh Most Important Thing by Shelly Pearsall

Rain, Reign

The Fourteenth Goldfish (Also a RC 2017)

I could go on and on....please email me directly if you have any questions.
