Amy, your post caused me to remember watching my great nephew and great
niece graduate from the 8th grade and in doing a routine with her cheer
group on a service called The Cube. It's a free streaming service which you
might want to investigate for use in your Media Club. I think Board
meetings and sporting events could be presented  in that format for public
consumption.
