Hi,

I’ve used Audible here at school for years. I have never seen an education account setting. I’ve talked to people there and they have never mentioned it. I have an account in my library’s name and it works pretty much like a personal account. I am lucky enough that I have a school credit card for the library so it works well.

Karrie,

Would you please post a link to Audible's Education Program. (I haven't found it through a Google search.) Last spring I was told by Audible that they have no education accounts only personal. I would absolutely love to have a school account.

Thanks,
Stephanie

Audible has educational accounts that allows 3 devices to use the account at one time. I bought 3 iPods and downloaded the app, giving each on it's own password and user name. When my students check them out, they will be given this information. I'll probably have to change the password on a regular basis to keep kids from using the account on other devices of their own.

This is new territory for me so I haven't worked out the kinks. The yearly subscription cost $250 and I got 24 book credits (1 credit per book) that I could spend all at one time.

The educational department was very helpful, although it took me awhile to come up with the email address. Google Audible education program.

Good luck!

Hi,
We are looking into Audible this year but the district cannot figure out how to set it up without me having access to their top secret Amazon password (love the trust). How do other districts work this? Would a Amazon gift card work?
Thanks!
