[ISLMA-Share] Survival books

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

One of my sixth grade teachers contacted me about updating her class sets of survival books.  Currently, she has Far North and Fear Place -- both published in the mid to late 1990s.  Do any of you have favorite survival stories that would be appropriate for 6th grade in class reading/analysis?
