I just did a "read alike" search on NoveList. This is what they suggested:

Read-alikes
1. Zero fade
[image: Thumbs Up] [image: Thumbs Down]
Terry, Chris L.
*Reason: * Funny and authentic, both heartfelt stories about teen guys will
strike a chord with any reader coping with family, peer pressure, and
insecurity. Both include multiple points of view; Zero Fade takes place in
the 1990s. -- Kathy Stewart
2. See you at Harry's
[image: Thumbs Up] [image: Thumbs Down]
Knowles, Johanna, 1970-
*Reason: * Readers will care deeply about the characters facing big issues
in each of these poignant stories. Told from multiple perspectives,
Molecules takes a more humorous approach, while Harry's is bleaker; both
explore what it means to be a family. -- Kathy Stewart
3. Dough Boy
[image: Thumbs Up] [image: Thumbs Down]
Marino, Peter, 1960-
*Reason: * Each of these funny, yet often heart-wrenching, stories provides
insight into the changes brought by newly blended families. In both,
picked-upon guys have their school and home worlds invaded by the
attractive and popular daughters of their dads' girlfriends. -- Kathy
Stewart
4. Along for the ride
[image: Thumbs Up] [image: Thumbs Down]

the genre 'Realistic fiction' and the subjects 'Children of divorced
parents' and 'Teenagers'.
5. 13 little blue envelopes
