I work in a K-8 library. The master schedule is due to be revised. I'm
curious how schedules work in other K-8 buildings as I come from a middle
school background. Currently, K-5 come to the library once a week. 6-8
come every other week. I also teach 9 sections of computers to K-2. There
isn't any time really for students to visit the library independently or to
offer programming outside of the regular class schedule. I have no
assistant at this time, although that could change in the future. The
teachers and paras do help with check in and check out to varying degrees,
and the NJHS students regularly help with shelving.

How does your schedule work now, and if the sky was the limit, how would
you structure your schedule?

Thanks,
