You can take a look at my presentation on Street Literature (Urban Fiction)
from 2013.
Please keep in mind that the reading level/content begins with middle
school and extends through adult books for teens.  Since I gave that
presentation, many more books have been written by the authors that were
referenced.

Saddleback Publications, Townsend Press, Kesington-Teen & Harper Teen tend
to carry the most titles these days.
