It was the Japanese-American service man. It is near the end of the book in a flashback. It happened in Germany and he was a POW that had Elizabeth (Frederick’s sister) as a nurse. The talisman was the harmonica.

Sincerely,

Alan, Librarian serving Brooks Middle School

Subject: [ISLMA-Share] Echo by Munoz Ryan

If you read this, can you point to the page where this happens?

"In which book is someone's life saved by a talismen that stops a bullet meant to kill him?"
The book is Echo, but I can't remember when this happens/to which character?
I have my Battle today (I'm so excited!) and I'd like to include this question but not if I can't back up my answer.

Thank you!!!
