Hello -

Hoping some great minds can help me revamp a book list for my 10th great SSR project.

Here is the email from the teacher. If you have a list or items you could help me out that would be great! Private emails always welcome. Or attachments. ;)

I am looking to revamp the list of suggested books for students to choose from for the Sophomore SSR paper. I also want to expand the list to include more events or movements that affect the way people see life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Below is a list of topics that I have begun. It is by no means exclusive. As you are seeing books of historical significance, would you please take a note of them so I can add them to my list. Thanks in advance for your help.

Revolutionary War
Civil War
Brown vs Board of Education of Topeka
Jim Crow Era
Women's Rights (Suffrage Movement, Title IX)
Immigration of the early 1900s
Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965
Civil Rights Movement
The Great Migration
Native Americans (ie. Indian Removial Act, Wars, Trail of Tears, American Indian Movement)
Great Depression
McCarthy Era
Cold War

Thanks so much!
