[ISLMA-Share] book hunt

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

Any guesses?  Patron is looking for a book with a plot that includes several boys hunting and they end up shooting some other boys, but not the girl that was with them (because one of them has a sister?).  That's about as detailed as it gets!  Patron heard other residents/staff in her nursing home talking about it so not sure if it's an old title or not.  Thanks in advance for any good guesses!
