[ISLMA-Share] Passing of Debby Miller

Many of you may remember Debby Miller, who was  tireless advocate for
libraries.  Below is her obituary and a tribute that appeared in the Daily
Herald today.


Deborah Miller, 78, nee Kabb. Beloved wife of the late Robert A. Miller.
Loving mother of Andrew Miller and Tracy (Timm Edgington) Miller. Cherished
sister of Harold (Arlene) Kabb. Dear sister-in-law of the late Richard
(Karen) Miller. Fond aunt and great aunt. Adored companion of "Desire the
cat". Winner of many accolades and honors regarding legislative and freedom
of speech such as the Studs Terkel Award. Service Tuesday 1:45 PM at
Chicago Jewish Funerals, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Road (one block north of Lake
Cook Road), Buffalo Grove. Interment Westlawn. Memorials in her memory to
your favorite literacy charity would be appreciated. Arrangements by
