Take a look at Hanover County Public Schools
http://hcps2.hanover.k12.va.us/instruction/media/lessonplanbook.htm

Also package up individual books with a corresponding coloring page, art
lesson, finger play that goes along with the book in a kit that the sub can
just pick up and use.

Look at Pinterest for lots of ideas.

Congratulations! I am preparing a binder for my replacement (I'm retiring
after 20 years in the library.) who is a current teacher here at South.
I am putting in just basic procedures, ordering, management, passwords, etc
and giving them to her in a binder.
I left that at my previous library and it was a great help to the new LMS.
Good Luck!
