[ISLMA-Share] Do you barcode surplus stock?

Hi,
Do any of you barcode extra "novels" for inventory purposes? These are not library books but rather extra classroom novels that are used more like textbooks in one of 4 schools?  These are books that can go to one of 4 schools that are housed at our district offices. Looking for some ideas on how to do this.
