[ISLMA-Share] ISO: genocide memoirs for 8th graders

*Never Fall Down* by Patricia McCormick is about Cambodia.  We have it in
our high school collection because it is a teen book, but it would probably
still be okay for 8th graders.  It was on the Read for a Lifetime list a
few years ago.  You will find it labeled as fiction, but it is based on the
account of a real person.  I believe McCormick explains in the book why she
chose to call it fiction rather than a memoir.
