Gumdrop Books, an international distributor of quality library and
classroom products, is seeking an Educational Sales Representative for
Northern Illinois. Gumdrop Books has been in business for 40 years and is a
major international distributor of top educational products. We represent
over 300 publishers and offer over 3 million titles of Pre-K to college
level books, eBooks, and educational products to the school and library
market.

*Description:*

As an Educational Sales Consultant, you will work in an assigned territory
of early childhood, elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as
develop and maintain new customers. You will use your sales and
entrepreneurial experience to represent Gumdrop Books in all aspects within
the territory. This is an independent contractor position.
------------------------------

*Job Requirements:*

A strong ability to work and relate to customers in the education industry.
This includes but is not limited to Librarians, Curriculum Specialists,
Principals, Reading Program Directors, and Teachers.

·      Basic computer skills

·      Strong customer focus and retention

·      Reliable transportation

·      Exceptional speaking and active listening skills

·      Ability to lift 30 pounds

·      College degree preferred
