Library friends!

I retire at the end of this 2015-16 school year after 35 wonderful years in the field of school librarianship!

My job just was posted today and I'm SO VERY, VERY grateful that they are replacing the position and not cutting it.

I cover two buildings (K-1, 2-4) but there is a full time aide at each.  It is a good district to work for and we have good, strong libraries with two other professionals in the district.   As teacher librarians we take leadership roles in information and technology literacy balanced with the traditional library literature role.  Both of my principals are wonderful to work with... and I would not say it if I didn't mean it.
