You might investigate some of the apps available to catalog home library
collections (free or inexpensive). See

I use Library World at ISRC -- $495/year. I import records from OCLC
Connexion, but there is an option to create simple records manually, which
I have done to catalog assistive technology devices and other realia items.
They offer a free 30-day trial.
