[ISLMA-Share] weeding my library advice

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

I took over our high school library this year which included a very
outdated collection of fiction and non-fiction. I ran a report showing
materials that have not been checked out in 3 years. It was not a fast
process, but I went book by book on that report to help decide what I would
discard. I'd say I discarded about 75% of our collection.
