Just in case this might be of interest.   Here is an email I rec'd on the status of EasyBib from Imagine Easy.

As you know Imagine Easy Solutions was acquired by Chegg last week. This acquisition will change several things going forward, but of principal concern to you is that Imagine Easy Scholar will no longer be available as a subscription.

Chegg plans to beef up the free EasyBib product, and incorporate some of the strong Scholar features within it. This expanded product will continue to be free to users, and will be supported by ads. 

ResearchReady was replaced by Academy, and some of this content will also be developed for EasyBib at a later date.

Please do not allocate funds for this 2016/2017 budget cycle for Scholar, and stay tuned for lots of interesting updates of what's coming, in this new budget friendly format.
