Jill -

Several years ago we opened our library 2 nights a week during the summer.
One teacher held a book club during that time, students could take AR
tests, and we had Rosetta Stone English set up for our ELL parents to use.
We used the same rules for checkout that we had during the school year, and
had no problem. Our only issue was that the program was set up for the
benefit of our low-income students, but they weren't the ones who used it.

I'm astounded - what kind of public library charges ANY amount of money for
a library card???!!!!
