[ISLMA-Share] Gifts for volunteers

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

This year we gave a bag of goodies with different sayings on them.  Unfortunately, I didn’t take a picture, but I’ll recall as many as I can:
M&M’s – “Thank you for being a Marvelous and Magnificent volunteer”
Animal Crackers – “The library would be a zoo without you!”
Microwave popcorn – “you’re pretty POP-ular with the library staff”
Hand sanitizer-“Thanks for keeping our shelves clear”
Gummy Lifesavers – “You’re a Lifesaver”
Post-it Notes – “Take note…we appreciate you”
Packages of nuts – “We’d go nuts without your help”
Twisty pretzels – “Our stomachs are in knots thinking about the library without you”
Thin stick pretzels – “Thank you for sticking with us!”

​This year we did Thanks for the gift of your Thyme and I got small thyme plants for each ($2. each). The kids drew trees on butcher paper for tablecloths and on cards and bookmarks to serve as gifts from them. Each kid in the class put a thumbprint on the ends of the branches.

I'm looking for creative ideas for thank you gifts for volunteers.

We have about 25 volunteers, so it needs to be inexpensive. Also, the volunteers are more interested in a heartfelt, creative thank you than something of monetary value. Also, it can't be something that takes lots of time to create.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
