[ISLMA-Share] Coffee in the Library

We have a Keurig for students and staff in the library. It is connected to
a water line which is wonderful -- I would prefill gallons of water every
morning if it wasn't. The Keurig is a BYO-KCup machine, but we do have
cups/lids/sleeves available for $.50 if a student needs one (I bought them
in bulk on Amazon). Most kids bring their own travel mugs. I keep a box of
baby wipes next to the machine so kids can clean up after themselves and
they do. That and a garbage can on either side of our coffee cart have kept
the area clean for two years. I have sold cocoa on a few special occasions
but our school guidelines did not make it easy for me to sell
caffeine/sugar to students on a daily basis so we opted to let students
bring their own. The machine is in use from the moment we open until just
before close -- we love having it in the library. Good luck with your
"Starbucks!" :)
