[ISLMA-Share] Summer

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

My contract is 9 ½ months, so I get 10 paid summer days at my discretion. Typically I do a few during summer school and half of them before the start of the year.

Good Morning,

I am just curious if anyone is paid to work any extra days in the summer? I am finding I spend literally 6 days a week in my areas to ensure things are ready for the next school year and I do it all for free. I am not complaining as it makes the year run MUCH smoother. But I would like to ask to be paid/compensated in some way but wanted to know how it works for everyone else.
