Dear Ryan,
Our principal, Rich Thole, at Princeville High is very accommodating to our
library needs. Normally he ok's my working a week or two at the year's end
and at before the beginning of the new year. (I just keep track of my
hours.)
This summer, since we're switching to a new circulation system AND I'm
preparing for the inclusion of 6th grade in our building in the fall (we're
7-12 right now), he's approved my working for approximately 3 weeks in June
as I see fit as well as the week or so before school begins in August.
Before I began here, the previous library director had it in her contract
to be paid for two weeks at the end of the year, and a week or two before
school started again (I don't recall that last part exactly). I prefer
being allowed to work as much as I need, rather than being tied down to a
certain period of time. Each year's needs are unique.
Best of luck!

:) Kathy Sullivan
