[ISLMA-Share] Family Reading Night

That was the theme for the Illinois Library Association summer reading
program. They always produce a booklet of activities. Maybe your public
library has it! (It's still available but costs.) I'm sure you can also
find other libraries that posted ideas. If you google "read for the win" a
bunch of Pinterest boards come up! Ireadprogram.org

That said, how about mini olympic type games (just coming off of summer
olympics) like javelin throw with soda straws, discus with small paper
plates, etc. Mini golf--each "hole" has a flag with a book cover on it?
Corn hole game only cover the boards with paper and decorate like the cover
of books? Twister--make each color a book genre (yellow is mystery, green
is sci fi, etc. then call out "right hand mystery", etc)

Have fun!
