Last year one of our veteran teachers asked for a book that would make her
jr. - sr. students laugh together. She read a chapter of *Swim the Fly*
aloud every week as a behavior reward. She blushed her way through it and
they loved it. We had a run on the sequel when she finished, but we were
able to substitute *Carter Finally Gets It, **The Absolutely True Diary of
a Part Time Indian,* and *Spanking Shakespeare* to the same readers.
