If you are looking for used sets of books or anything else school related,
you could try S.C.A.R.C.E. which is a non-profit organization in Glen
Ellyn.  Any Illinois educator or home-school parent can go there and take
what you need for free.  I've donated weeded (but still good) books,
overhead projectors, audiobooks, furniture, etc., and I have teacher
friends who have gone in there and gotten class sets of novels.,
dictionaries, etc.  You never know what you'll find.
