Please join Leslie Bednar for Connect with Leslie today at 10:00 a.m. This
online meeting is a way for us to spend 30 minutes to keep members informed
on what is happening at IHLS.



*Jacob Roskovensky*, librarian at Charleston High School and
president-elect of the Illinois Library Media Association (ISLMA) will join
Leslie to talk about *Libraries and the ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act)
implementation*. For months, much of the Illinois library community has
been working diligently to ensure that support for school library programs
and certified library staff will be included in the Illinois implementation
plan.



Whether a school, public, academic or special library, Jacob will address
how we all can support this most important initiative.
