Hi all,

Does anyone out there have a rubric that they use to look at students citations to evaluate the variety of sources, what avenues they used to find their sources, as well as how well they evaluated the information that they chose. I'm working on a rubric for one of my SLOs, and I'm having trouble with how I want to word the rubric, so I would love to see some examples if you have anything that might work.

If you need background, our Current History teacher is having me teach students the database and how to utilize google news for her students' research projects. They will also have to check in with me to discuss their sources every so often throughout the semester (I get to give them a small amount of points based on the quality of conversation, which I think is amusing). I will use the rubric during these check-ins to evaluate their progress which will turn into data for my SLO.

Thanks,
