I have a handful of digital picture frames that display student book recommendations (which we created together during our scheduled classes.) That's probably not an option for you, but we also use padlet to have students post "shelfies" every week. Maybe you could have students use your cameras or take their own pics and send them to you? You could also take candid photos of teachers reading and include those there as well.

Hi all,

I have new digital signage in the library that plays a slideshow all day. I have two TVs in the library and one in each of our offices that we utilize to play the same thing. We have it on a closed system with a Google Slideshow on a loop. I am interested in ideas to keep the slides fresh, so I would love to know what you do if you have it in your library.

So far, I have slides (or ideas for slides) for the following.

Upcoming School Library Programs
Upcoming Public Library Programs (they make their own slides and send them to me)
New Books
Book Displays
Club Meetings
College Visits
Announcements

What else would you add?

Thanks!
