There are a number of other things out there on weeding as well. I just
googled ALA weeding (doing just what we tell our students not to do) and
came up with some hits. In addition to the one I sent before, here are
some others:

An annotated bibliography from the ALA about weeding. Some of the entries
include links. This is from 2006, so some of the info may be outdated.

A very long document (93 pages) from the Texas State Library and Archives
Commission entitled *CREW: A Weeding Manual for Modern Libraries* from 2008.

And then this page, with lots of links, including ones on weeding, from a
site called Resources for School Librarians, maintained by Linda Bertland.
