[ISLMA-Share] New Library Addition

Good Morning,

I was just asked to give a presentation to the school board fairly soon
about the potential needs and wants of a library/media/technology addition
to our high school.  In the next few years, the school plans to possibly
add on to create a new technology and library space.  I'm looking
specifically for reasons why a school would need this and how it would help
our students.  What could we add to a new media center to benefit
students?  Your ideas would greatly be appreciated!

Just a little background: our library right now has classrooms connected to
it, so I can't lock it when I'm gone, only 15 computers, nowhere else to
plug anything in, and we're going 1:1 next year.  Our technology office is
more like a closet, and we both have little space to store anything.
