[ISLMA-Share] Restoration Task Force

Last call... I have 5 volunteers, it is not too late to join this team.

ADVOCACY OPPORTUNITY:

I am looking for 6-8 people from various locations in IL for The ISLMA
Restoration Task Force. I have hope for a face-to-face meeting at Tinley
Park on Nov. 4. Most meetings will be teleconference or virtual of an
evening or Saturday morning..

The Restoration Task Force is a committee that that is focused on educating
the public on the impacts and outcomes of school librarians and strong
library programs.  We will not demonize the local school board in our
campaign.  We are hoping to align with local district timelines.  We are
looking for places that we have seen gradual cuts.
We will strategically find several school districts to target from CPS, 2
suburb, 5 downstate that are geographically dispersed and demographically
diverse.

Some thoughts are: Mundelein, Lincolnshire 96, West Aurora 129, Illini
Bluffs, McLean County Unit 5 (Normal), Carbondale HS.
