Wow 3 libraries by yourself...

I worked with the PTO and they put out an email blast, I also posted on
school website. I asked for parents grandparents or community members
Then I found a UCAN a foster grandparent program here in Lake Country.
I try to train 2 or more at time, it does take a while but well worth the
investment.
Than I have 1 volunteer that is good at training otters.
Last year I had 10 volunteers. I am down to 5 this year because 3 had kids
move on to the 3-5 school, 1 got a job, 1 moved.
This year 4 or my 5 are seniors/grandparents. 2 through the UCAN program
and the other 2 are grandparents of students who actually went to the 3-5
or 6-8 schools, but they stayed with me!!!! YEAH
It is a challenge some times but well worth it. They shelve and repair
books and help with check out.
If you need more info or what to talk let me know. Hope this helps.
Alisha
