[ISLMA-Share] Tracking nominated books read

I require our students to write book reviews in our online catalog. One to two sentences is fine. Before I approve them, I print out the lists. I use these lists to determine how many nominated books the students have read. I don't get a lot of participation, though, so this may be one of the deterrents. However, it is easy for me.

I use a Google Form that they kids fill out and then I have a spread sheet so I can see how many each kid has read. This is the first year I am doing this. In the past I have had a display with the book covers and then when kids read that book, I put their name on a book die cut and stuck it around the book.

Hi,

I'm looking for ideas on how media specialists are keeping track of titles students have read for Bluestem & Caudill books. Simple checklists/punch cards or something that holds them more accountable??

Thanks,
