[ISLMA-Share] Congratulations to the New Librarian of Congress - Carla Hayden

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

I am thrilled about the appointment and confirmation of Carla Hayden as the
Librarian of Congress. She is deserving of all of the accolades that have
come her way and she will bring the Library of Congress into the current
century.

On a negative note, I did note that Mark Kirk was among the 18 Senators who
chose to follow his party line and voted in opposition to her confirmation.
