Hi all-
I have a parent looking for a book to read with her 3rd grade son. He's
reading at a 5th or 6th grade level, but struggling with letting things go,
particularly conflicts with his peers. He's a big proponent of things being
fair and just, especially on the playground. She's looking for a book that
can help him realize that he doesn't always have to choose to argue or
fight for what's right. Sometimes it is easier and best to just "let it
go."

She'd like a novel that they can read together, and that she can then refer
back to when he's having a hard time, asking, "What would (character from
novel) do in this situation?"

I know this is very particular! Any help is much appreciated!!

Thanks!!
