[ISLMA-Share] Standards

Hi All:

I need a little guidance.  Our new head wants me to align my program with the ISAIL standards but has not given me any direction except handing me a copy of the standards.  I have been teaching a long time and have never had anything handed to me like this.  Has anyone had experience with having to do this and could lend me some assistance?  I have been reading through them and quite a bit of it seems to overlap with the Language Arts lessons, are ideas that I present in an informal way, or the standard seems to be normal library procedures.  How have you handled these?

One of our science teachers did something similar and had an Excel spreadsheet that listed the standard on the side and the grade and unit it was covered in.  Is this how you did yours?
