Subject: [ISLMA-Share] Help with picture book?

A student is looking for a picture book: it's about a man who lives in a house that's surrounded by a nice yard and garden.  Next door is a women whose house, yard, etc. are run-down, and she's not very nice.  By the end of the story, her house, yard, etc. are looking better and better, she's become nicer, and she and the man are friends - possibly holding hands.  No idea what the cover looks like.

I'm drawing a 100% blank.  Any ideas?
