Expanded Access to E-books Through BiblioBoard Library
RAILS is partnering with BiblioLabs to bring BiblioBoard Library<http://railslibraries.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=2c51285b8d63e23716bce030f&id=afe7bd3edb&e=81fdeefbc8> to Illinois libraries and residents. Anyone who is physically in Illinois can have free access to this collection without logging in. All titles are for simultaneous use, which means no hold queues and no waiting for titles, making it an ideal collection for schools.

One way to use the collection in your school library is during the American Library Association's annual Banned Books Week (September 25 – October 1), since it provides an excellent opportunity for students to explore frequently challenged classic titles. For more information on BiblioBoard Library, see the RAILS website<http://railslibraries.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=2c51285b8d63e23716bce030f&id=802ae52fb3&e=81fdeefbc8>.

New Revised Draft of System Membership Standards

Earlier this year, the committee released draft standards and invited member comment. The committee reviewed all feedback very carefully and made changes to the draft standards as a result.

A revised draft<http://railslibraries.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=2c51285b8d63e23716bce030f&id=371e4dc367&e=81fdeefbc8> is now available on the RAILS website for member review and comment.
