Hi Amy:
I have no idea if these organizations would be willing to Skype, but here are two that my district has worked with:

Bernie's Book Bank<http://berniesbookbank.org/> & Feed My Starving Children<https://www.fmsc.org/>

I hope that helps!

Good morning!

A teacher at my school is looking for an organization that "has made some sort of change in the world through helping people in poverty" that would be willing to Skype with some students. She has reached out to some places on her own, but hasn't had much luck. I personally don't know of any specific organizations off the top of my head, so I thought I would ask the great minds of ISLMA. The teacher said, " I was thinking about organizations or individuals who have helped with food, access to education, books, health or anything really. The kids need to make a change in their local community and globally so I would like them to be inspired ideally."

This sounds like such a cool idea, I would love to help her out!

Any ideas or contacts?

Thanks for your help!
