I look back fondly to our visit just under year ago (November 2015). What
fun!*

*I wanted to let you know that I am planning a trip to Chicago for a
conference this November. I am writing to see if any school in your
district (or other colleagues in the area) might be interested in a
discounted author visit. While my normal fee is $1,500 plus expenses (an
additional ~$500), I would be happy to discount a visit on November 14, 15,
or 16 by not charging any travel fees since I will already be in the area.*
