[ISLMA-Share] Help with a book title

[Email list for the Illinois School Library Media Association]

I had a second grader looking for a book with this description today.
Couldn't get a clear answer on whether it was actually a chapter book, but
he made it sound like it was.

An illustrated chapter book with mostly gray illustrations (just a little
bit of color) with a kid whose imagination makes him think his teacher is a
monster, but he's really asleep dreaming.

Showed him Notebook of Doom and Eerie Elementary and those were not it.

Any ideas?
