Yes, I do work with my tech department and asset tag all technology (at first just Title 1 purchases but now nearly everything). The asset tags are very different from my library barcodes so it helps to distinguish between them. I use my library software to track items. It’s not perfect (teachers come and grab, trade out, etc.) but it’s better than before. Feel free to call or email me offlist if you want any more details.

Subject: [ISLMA-Share] Bar codes for chromebooks?

Hello, all!

Do any of you work with your tech people to bar code the Chromebooks or any other computer inventory?

Thanks in advance for any and all information!
